3. Do not drive with heavy load and low gear for a long time, which will damage the engine and muffler;

 

4. Do not blow the accelerator at high speed for a long time;

 

5. When there is oil stain on the surface of the exhaust pipe muffler, the surface color will become yellow and the flange will change after hot driving. 6. When installing the muffler, pay attention to the muffler pad installed in place and fastened to prevent air leakage, affecting the silencing effect and causing yellow at the muffler interface;

 

7. The engine valve clearance, carburetor, air filter, etc. shall be adjusted and cleaned timely and correctly according to the instructions of the whole vehicle. If the valve clearance is too small or the mixture is too rich or thin, it will affect the combustion, affect the muffler and cause discoloration.

 

It should be noted that do not wash the exhaust pipe with cold water when the vehicle is hot. The surface of the exhaust pipe is generally provided with a layer of antirust coating, also known as high-temperature paint. In the case of hot vehicle, sudden encounter with cold water will affect the adhesion of the coating, resulting in peeling off of the coating, loss of antirust effect and beauty. Some motorcycle exhaust pipes are made of full stainless steel, so some people mistakenly think they will be invincible. In fact, this is a wrong view. Under certain conditions, stainless steel will rust. For example, sudden encounter with cold water at high temperature will also rust stainless steel.
