Exhaust tail section
The tail section of exhaust includes pipeline, silencing package and tail throat (exhaust hole), which are used to reduce noise and decorate.

For example, some small displacement cars can also see double output, but this is different from large displacement cars. Most large displacement vehicles are two pipelines or a thick pipe, which leads to two small silencing bags, and then to the double outlet tail throat.
The small displacement vehicle has a single pipe and is relatively thin. It leads to a large silencing package, which is divided into two tail throats, which is more decorative.
The silencing package of the exhaust tail section can not only reduce the noise, but also change the air flow through the internal design to achieve the purpose of changing the exhaust sound, which is also the reason for the unique sound wave blown by the exhaust.
Modification tips: some primary modification players will modify the exhaust tail section to achieve the purpose of changing the appearance and sound.
Exhaust middle section
The middle section of exhaust includes pipeline and silencing package. The middle section is the main working part to reduce noise, reduce exhaust vibration and change horsepower torque range.
Generally, there are two small silencing bags or one large silencing bag on the middle section of the car. Whether the car is quiet enough, whether the exhaust vibration is small enough, and the speed range of maximum horsepower torque depends on the middle section.
For example, the middle section of some performance vehicles may have a small silencing package or no silencing package. The purpose is to reduce the exhaust gas discharged by the engine and hinder the smooth discharge. Of course, the sound and vibration are greater than those of household vehicles.
Let alone the middle section above the super run. Most super runs are middle or rear engines. The engine is close to the exhaust tail section, so there is almost no middle section, which is one of the reasons why the super run sound is so loud. In fact, you can try to cut the exhaust of the car in half and blow it up as well!
Modification tips: because the middle exhaust can affect the maximum horsepower and torque range of the car, some intermediate modification players will modify the middle and rear sections of the car, such as straight row (without any silencing package), reducing the number of silencing packages or reducing the silencing package to achieve the effect.
Please note: you can't refit blindly for the sake of sound. If the exhaust gas from your engine is not enough and there is no silencing package to block the exhaust gas, your car will lose low torque and start hard.
Exhaust head section
The exhaust of the head section includes exhaust manifold (banana), three-way catalyst and pipeline. This section is also the most complex section, which will directly affect the power and exhaust emission standards.
Let's start with plantain. Plantain is the only exhaust part connected between the exhaust system and the engine. Its function is to combine the exhaust gas of each cylinder and exhaust it again. Take the four cylinder car as an example. The exhaust gas from the four cylinders is discharged in a 4-1 way. This is the role of plantain.
Some friends will ask, "I heard there is a 4-2-1 banana. What's going on?"
Little knowledge answer: in fact, the plantain of Mazda's chuangchi blue sky technology is a 4-2-1 design, which allows the exhaust gases of the four cylinders to be combined in pairs and then discharged together. This is not like the 4-1 banana. The four-way waste gas is crowded for a hole. This design can not only improve the exhaust fluidity, but also reduce the knock caused by the engine with high compression ratio.
Small class: the diameter of banana on the performance car and super run is larger than that of the engine exhaust port. This design is to avoid the blockage caused by the backflow of exhaust gas back into the engine, so as to improve the exhaust fluidity.
Next comes the three-way catalyst. The function of the three-way catalyst is to purify the exhaust gas and reduce the noise. The three-way catalyst is also different in different cars, different in length and thickness, and the filters inside are also sparse and dense. For example, the three-way catalysis on some performance cars and super cars is relatively short and sparse. In order to improve the exhaust fluidity.
Refitting tips: some experienced refitting players will upgrade their power by refitting plantains and high flow ternary. However, there is no ternary for racing cars. Anyway, they don't need to inspect cars.
